The Salted Anchor — Common Room — Early Morning

    SCENE NOTE

Size — roughly 45ft x 30ft. Four tables, bar along the north wall, low hearth on the south wall, staircase to upper rooms in the northeast corner, kitchen door behind the bar, single front door facing the main street. Combat movement: a character can cross the full room in two moves.

Features — four mismatched tables with chairs, the bar with bottles and cups, the hearth with a fire going since before dawn, a window beside the front door with a partial view of the dock road beyond.

Points of Interest — a blue clay pot of salt fish on the bar (unremarkable, present), the front window shows the near end of the dock road where a small crowd is beginning to gather (Path B seed), the kitchen door is slightly ajar and sounds of movement suggest Maret is already working.

Combat Consideration — not a combat scene. Four tables provide low cover if it becomes one. The front door is the only public exit. Kitchen door leads to the back hall and proprietor's exit.
