Edit or Copy Map Level
After you’ve built your whole dungeon at level 1 and then realized the stairs only go UP but you have three more levels DOWN to go… it would be great to be able to change the level of what you’ve built without rebuilding the whole map three levels up.

Courtney,
You can actually build downward in Dungeon Alchemist⚗️, although this functionality depends on the biome you're using.
From your description, it sounds like you may be building in one of the two biomes that don't support construction below the surface plane: Dark Parchment or Green Screen. Since these biomes don't contain terrain, you can't build below the surface plane. As a result, multi-story builds in these biomes must start at the lowest level and build upward.
Fortunately, if you're using either of these biomes, you can switch to a terrain-based biome, such as Forest or Jungle, through the Terrain tab in the left menu.
Once you've switched biomes, you can build downward by pressing the minus key or clicking the down arrow on the level widget in the top-right corner. From there, use the Room Tool to create your lower floor. An outline of the floor above will help you align the rooms, and placing a staircase on the lower floor will automatically create an opening in the floor above.
If I've misunderstood your situation, please feel free to clarify!
For future reference, we also encourage everyone to visit our official Discord and use our Questions or Support forums when encountering difficulties. Our team and community are happy to help troubleshoot issues and explain existing functionality, often saving you considerable time and frustration.
Sincerely,
Mac
