Export by layer without background

First off, the new layers are fanstatic, but unfortunately it doesn't help much when trying to export them to use with programs like foundryvtt as the amount of work needed to make the layers work when there are multiple places that would be visible from a different layer make it very complicated to use even when using the green layer export. having a way to extract these in a webp format or png would be ideal.
