Splash Screen / Launch Menu

Sometimes our maps are very large, and take a long time to open.

This is really frustrating when I’m opening DA, and my last map was a large one, and so I have to sit and let it load for ~5 minutes before I can do anything.

Having a splash screen/launch menu, where you open DA and instead of loading a map, you either choose to load a map from Recently Saved or disk, OR you put in the parameters for the new map you want to make.

Mainly QOL more than anything, as it prevents to unfortunate “long wait” to launch that we sometimes face.

If not a menu, perhaps a setting in “Settings” for “Open last map saved” or “Open default map on launch” so that we can either pick up where we left off, or have a fresh canvas for when we open.
