Toggle to Lock/Deactivate Objects

Be able to place an object and the lock it in place so that you don't accidentally grab it or move it when placing other objects on/in/around it. Have a padlock button when the object is selected to activate the condition, could then Alt/Shift-click the object to unlock it.
Or add a modifier to select objects on/in/around the larger object that might be in the larger objects space.
