Object Rotation
As the title says, It would be nice to 3D rotate Objects, for example, make it seem like crystals grow out of walls or Books are Vertically floating or have something on an angle as in Crooked
Currently, you have to have a separate object for Horizontal and Vertical items and that is if you can find both "states" for the object in question
For example: building a Book-case Library Dome is impossible at the moment (unless you want it to look weird)
Or posing a Pitcher in the Hands of an NPC-Model to indicate "Pouring"

Any good progress on this?

I made a separate thread for this, but just thought maybe I should comment it here since it’s a suggested subfeature.
“Rotate to surface” as a button to snap the rotation to the nearest large face to rest against.
This would make it incredibly quick to place items in odd positions - say for example, a cart tipped over and the contents fell down a hill. Random stray objects placed on the hill, press rotate to surface, then snap the nearest face to the hill instead.

Can we have an option to use rotation widgets like unity has? I've mastered those and I don't remember ever thinking they were unintuitive. But with the ones in the demo I don't know which way it will rotate after it's already been rotated into a weird angle.
The current rotation widgets make it seem like the object is going to be rotated with respect to the screen. So all rotations would result in weird off-axis transformations. I’ve attached a screenshot showing what I expected the rotation widgets to do compared to what they actually do based on the movie.
